I love to make couples feel as comfortable as possible with me following them around all day long. So get ready for a lot of silly jokes and games to get you laughing.
On your wedding day
I'm always on the lookout for moments you probably won't even notice - The flower girls playing hide and seek, your grandpa wiping away some tears - I'm ready for it all.
I'm a little bit of a planner. Prior to your wedding I send my couples a questionnaire so I can plan out the family and group shots you need. Having this list is such a great help and gets your guests to the cocktail hour in record time.

I can't help but show up early to weddings. I love to make everyone comfortable in front of the camera, so getting to know each person that is with you while you're getting ready is so important to me. And if I'm hanging out with the groomsmen before the wedding, get ready for Celine Garn-bro.

The way your wedding photos are edited is so important. If you don't like style of the photographer you hire, you won't like the finished product. I recommend looking at lots of different photographers to find an editing style you like.
And just a note, I do not Photoshop anything that isn't temporary - skin blemishes, bruises, etc. If you are feeling uncomfortable with your body in any way, let me know and we can be mindful with posing you.
Photo editing
Typically, most weddings take 4-6 weeks to be delivered. You might be thinking "why does it take so long?!" Editing a wedding is a lot of work. Besides sorting through every photo of the day, I also edit each photo individually. This means checking the colour balance, straightening out and levelling, and fixing anything that needs fixing. It is a time consuming job, but I love to do it. After working in a photo lab for over 6 years I understand how important it is to have beautiful, colour correct photographs.

I 100% recommend engagement sessions for all my couples. It gives us a great chance to get to know each other before your wedding and get used to being in front of the camera.
